The Israeli army announced that it intercepted two unmanned aerial vehicles, launched from the West Bank and penetrating Israeli airspace in the Eilat area.
Both drones were intercepted and shot down, posing no threat to the lives and health of civilians or service members. The Israeli safety service is conducting an investigation into the incident. The country's Prime Minister Naftali Bennett expressed gratitude to the military and security services for the successful detection and interception of the drones.
"We will not allow any Islamic jihad or anyone else to violate our sovereignty. Our response will be delivered with maximum force. The terrorists must fight; I sincerely hope that this message reaches them," Bennett commented on the incident.
