Israeli teams have begun demolishing the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem, amid tightened Israeli restrictions on humanitarian organizations providing aid to Palestinians. UNRWA stated in a post on the platform 'X' that Israeli forces seized the workers' equipment and forced them to leave its headquarters in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. The agency added: 'This is an unprecedented attack, not only on UNRWA and its premises, but it also constitutes a serious violation of international law and the privileges and immunities of the United Nations.'
