US to Offer Passport Services in West Bank Settlement

The US will start offering passport services in a West Bank settlement. American officials announced on Tuesday that consular staff will provide routine passport services in the settlement of Efrat, south of the Palestinian city of Bethlehem, on Friday, February 27. The US Embassy in Jerusalem stated that this initiative is part of efforts to reach all Americans abroad. Additionally, the diplomatic mission plans to offer similar services in the city of Ramallah in the West Bank.
