Netanyahu's Office Denies Iran Attack on Its Headquarters

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied to EFE that its headquarters was attacked by Iran on Monday, as Iranian media reported citing the Revolutionary Guard. "This is just Revolutionary Guard propaganda," a spokesperson for Netanyahu's office stated, confirming that the prime minister is in Israel. Iranian media reported on Monday, citing the Revolutionary Guard, that Netanyahu's office and other targets had been attacked by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic "in selective and surprise attacks with Jeibar missiles". Air raid alarms sound periodically in Jerusalem, where on Sunday night a missile hit a road leading out of the city, which had not been attacked in either the current conflict with Iran or the so-called twelve-day war in June 2025. On Monday, the alarms sounded again and interceptions were heard, but no projectile impact has been reported. Israeli defense systems have repelled most of the Iranian projectiles, however, yesterday nine people, including a 16-year-old, died after a missile hit a synagogue that was serving as a communal shelter and adjacent houses in Beit Shemesh, about 30 kilometers from Jerusalem. With their deaths, the number of known fatalities in Israel is 10, while in Iran, according to the Red Crescent, the figure is over 550, including 180 in the attack on a school in Minab in the south of the country.
