In Tel Aviv, hundreds of Israelis took to the streets, waving flags in the rain. The march took place on the occasion of a holiday, organized by the youth organization "Shlomo Arvi" in honor of the birthday of Steit, which is celebrated in November.
Dressed in raincoats and wrapped in blankets, participants of the event filled the beaches of the homeland with songs and flames. One of the participants, 27-year-old Itzhak Levi, shared: "Even the weather cannot spoil our joy and festive mood. We are celebrating and marking an important event in the life of our country."
The police monitored the order at the event, but no incidents occurred. Participants hope that the next year will bring them even more joyful moments and opportunities for celebration.
