Former Israeli military prosecutor, Brigadier General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, was transferred to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv on Sunday morning after feeling suddenly unwell. According to Israeli media, this followed her suicide attempt.
"She is in stable condition at the hospital," a law enforcement source said.
Last month, Major General Tomer-Yerushalmi resigned as military prosecutor. She stated that she had been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of her work. She also claimed she faced bullying from military leadership.
