The office of the Israeli Defense Minister announced on Friday that the defense budget for 2026 will amount to 112 billion shekels ($34.63 billion), which is significantly higher than the 2025 budget, which was described as the largest in the history of the Hebrew state, at 619 billion shekels ($169 billion). The defense share in it was 109.8 billion shekels ($30 billion).
