The Israeli army announced that it killed a fighter from the 'Jihad' movement in the southern Gaza Strip, the first since the ceasefire was reinstated in power agreements with 'Hamas'.
"Israeli army units in southern Gaza identified several suspicious militants, who posed a threat, and eliminated the threat, destroying one member of 'Jihad'", the army stated.
The army confirmed that it adheres to the terms of the ceasefire that reinstated on Sunday.
