On Thursday, Israeli defense forces announced the release of Israeli soldier Avgad Berzera from the Red Cross after his liberation from the captivity of the Hamas movement in the Gaza sector. Later they added that he is already on Israeli territory.
"It was very difficult for me, but I still could and had to return to my own," Berzera said after his release.
The soldier was captured by Hamas during combat actions in 2014 and spent almost 7 years in captivity.
