Israel Transfers Hostages to Red Cross

The Israeli army announced that two more Israelis along with five foreigners, who were being held hostage in the Gaza sector, were handed over to the International Red Cross. These participants were given the opportunity to return to their families thanks to the efforts of the Red Cross.

One of the Israelis said: "Thank you to everyone who helped bring me home. It was a difficult experience, but I am glad to be free again."

It should be noted that this exchange of hostages is part of an agreement to cease hostilities between Israel and Palestinian organizations, which was reached after recent military confrontations in the region.
