Israeli Soldier Released from Hamas Custody

The Israeli army announced on Thursday that it has received Israeli soldier Avi Berger from Hamas in the Gaza Strip after his release by the Hamas movement. It was later reported that he is already in Israeli territory.

"We are pleased to announce that Israeli soldier Avi Berger has been freed and is under Israeli control," the army commented.
