Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed on Saturday that he will travel to the United States on Sunday for a meeting with President Donald Trump.
Netanyahu and Trump plan to discuss a renewal of negotiations between Israeli and Palestinian leaders, an official source reported.
"During the visit, Netanyahu will also meet with American officials to discuss various issues, including a comprehensive agreement between the U.S. and Israel," the statement from the prime minister reads.
The last meeting between Netanyahu and Trump took place in early March at the White House, where both sides reaffirmed their long-standing and close relations between the two countries.
**Netanyahu's Quote:** "The visit to the U.S. will allow us to deepen our strategic ties and discuss key issues affecting the future of Israel and all the populations of the territories in the Middle East."
