Mark Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, plans to visit Israel and several Arab countries in mid-February. This was announced by an official representative of the ministry.
According to him, during Rubio's visit, he will discuss with partners issues of security and stability in the region, as well as support for peace initiatives.
"The minister's visit includes a trip to Jerusalem, as well as to some Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE. This visit will be aimed at strengthening cooperation and dialogue," noted the representative.
Important issues on the agenda of the visit will include regional security, counter-terrorism efforts, and support for measures to ease conflicts. Discussions will also focus on perspectives for peacebuilding in the region and further steps to strengthen international cooperation.
