On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister David Mendelsohn stated that the Hamas movement bears responsibility for the release of two Israelis it is holding captive in the Gaza Strip territory.
According to Mendelsohn, Israel is doing everything possible for the return of its citizens home and is ready to apply a full range of instruments to ensure their release to Hamas.
"Hamas must realize that it is dealing with a serious player, and we expect it to fulfill its obligations within the efforts to return our citizens," Mendelsohn's words are quoted by the telekan.
