On Monday, the Israel Defense Forces announced that its troops would remain at five "strategic points" in Livan after the restoration of the ceasefire.
As reported by the military, the speech concerns positions considered important for the security of the state.
"Israel believes that the transfer of control to the specified positions in Livan will lead to destabilization of the region and create a threat to Israeli security," the armed forces stated.
