According to the information contained in the document that was circulated, the EU intends to remind Israel of the need to ensure the resumption. More specifically, it is about the fact that Israeli authorities should guarantee the resumption of the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations in an official manner. The process has become necessary to address unresolved issues with the non-compliant Palestinians.
"The parties and their obligations, especially the Israeli side, will be closely monitored and evaluated from the point of view of their consistency and credibility," the document states.
From the side of Israeli representatives, however, statements were made that they intend to express concerns about any EU plans regarding the negotiation process.
