Axel and Ideho Pipas, parents of two children, accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of "abandonment." According to them, Netanyahu refused to fulfill his obligations and support when it became known that their children were kidnapped and transferred to the Gaza Strip a year ago. Since then, they have been living in autonomy under the control of HAMAS. "The family feels themselves traditionally left by the Israeli government," the children's mother stated. "We hoped for help from Netanyahu and his administration, but for over a year we have received no support from them." The parents demand that the children be returned home and assert that the prime minister should take responsibility for the incident.
