Negotiations for Hostage Release Continue in Israel

The Israeli government is negotiating in Qatar, along with Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, for all hostages to return. According to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, of the 70 kidnapped, 35 are presumed dead, representing 50% of fatal victims, which creates a dramatic situation.

Roni Kaplan, spokesman for the Israeli Army, stated that Hamas violated the ceasefire agreement with Israel by sending a body that does not belong to Shiri Bibias. Additionally, he declared that the children of the family, Ariel and Kfir, were brutally murdered. After further forensic investigations, it was confirmed that the terrorists did not shoot the two babies but killed them manually and committed horrific acts to hide the crime.

The body sent, attributed to Shiri Bibas, was found not to match her DNA samples, revealing it belonged to a Gazan woman. The army spokesman expressed that every effort is being made to recover Shiri Bibas after Hamas violated the agreement. He also apologized to Yarden Bibas, the father and husband of the victims, who was captured in Gaza and learned of the kidnapping and murder of his family while detained.

Currently, there are still 70 hostages in the hands of Hamas. It is expected that, following the ceasefire, 6 people will be released tomorrow and another 11 in the coming days. Kaplan criticized how Hamas indoctrinates children in violence and terrorism, describing it as a terrorist industry.
