A female hostage was converted into a human shield by the al-Qasam brigade of the Israeli military Shiri Bobas, after being accused by Israel of being involved in the killing of two children from a family.
Israel accused the Hamas movement of being responsible for the killing of two Israeli children in the explosion. One of the alleged killers was killed, while the other died in a clash with a special forces unit.
"The Qasam" group did not claim responsibility for the killing of the children, but took as a hostage a woman who, armed, entered the territory of Gaza to join an unarmed group.
"The hostage woman was arrested and later released back to the Gaza territory," officials noted.
