On Sunday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that the army conducted an "evacuation" of two important military points, asserting that this is related to the threat of the Iranian nuclear weapon program.
"Today, the Israeli Defense Forces implemented a precautionary evacuation of two strategic military points due to the threats posed by the Iranian military nuclear program. We cannot tolerate any mistakes in this area," the statement from the ministry said.
According to Israeli media reports, the first evacuation point is located in a settlement in the occupied West Bank, near the site of last week's rocket launch operation from Gaza, while the second point is in southern Israel.
This step comes a week after rocket launches from the Gaza Strip towards Israel, in response to the seizure of an Iranian ship in the Atlantic Ocean, according to Israeli media.
