Yesterday, on Monday, the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Eli Cohen held a meeting with high-ranking European officials. During the negotiations, key issues were discussed, including the situation in the region and the prospects for resolving the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

One of the main topics of the negotiations was the tightening of pressure on the Iranian government regarding its nuclear program. The minister emphasized the importance of a coordinated international position on this issue and cooperation with key partners in Europe.

"Iran continues to move towards creating nuclear weapons, and the international community cannot remain indifferent. We need to consolidate efforts to prevent such developments from happening," Lapid noted.

The parties also discussed the prospects of establishing a ceasefire in the context of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The minister expressed Israel's readiness for dialogue and the search for compromises, while stressing the importance of the safety of his country.

Minister Lapid rejected the constructive nature of the negotiations and expressed confidence in the further development of cooperation between Israel and European countries in various spheres.
