The Israel Defense Forces announced on Saturday that it has struck a lethal unmanned aerial vehicle that was launched from its territory toward the Gaza sector. The attack was directed against individuals attempting to seize control of the southern sector.
"The Israel Defense Forces acted after monitoring the drone launched from Gaza toward Israeli territory. Our forces were able to successfully destroy the drone without incurring any human injuries or material damage," stated the military spokesperson.
