On Sunday, the Israeli Ministry of Defense announced that it will allow Syrian Druze to access the Golan Heights. The announcement by the ministry does not specify the date of granting the permission.
"The human factor is particularly important, and it is a result of efforts to nurture a relationship with the Druze community," said Defense Minister Yoav Galant in a statement.
This decision comes after negotiations with the Syrian side to facilitate the lives of the Druze workers in Israel and their families.
