Israel Orders Halt to Classes Near Gaza

Israeli authorities ordered the suspension of activities in border areas with the Gaza Strip on Tuesday due to rocket fire from Palestinian territories. In the morning, two rockets were fired towards the south of the country.

The Israel Defense Forces reported that one of the rockets was intercepted by the "Iron Dome" defense system, while the other fell in an open area. No one was injured, and there is no information on possible damage.

"After consultations with the Ministry of Education, a decision was made to suspend activities in the form of educational activities in open spaces in schools in border areas," said a representative of the Israeli army.

He added that this decision was made with the aim of ensuring the safety of citizens and students, while educational institutions within buildings will continue to operate on a regular schedule.

In response to the rocket fire from Gaza, Israeli forces attacked positions in the "Hamas" brigade. As a result, one person was injured due to the rocket falling in a location in the Southern district.
