Analysts from the Israeli news portal WAHLA reported on Sunday that a fierce battle is expected between the leader of the "Jewish Home" party, Ayelet Shaked, and the current Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in the upcoming elections. Analysts are confident that the source of the votes will depend on the position of Arab deputies in the new parliament. The decisive role may also be played by the position of former representatives from the former USSR republics.
Experts predict that the elections, scheduled for the beginning of April, will take place in a difficult environment, considering the tensions in the Arab territories. According to their opinion, growing tensions in the region may affect the pre-election campaign and its outcome.
"Our goal is to give a general picture of what happens before the elections and what factors may influence their results," clarified the analyst of the WAHLA portal.
