On Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces announced that the head of its Central Command, Aviv Kochavi, has carried out an unexpected visit to certain areas of the country.
"We are always prepared and monitoring the situation," Kochavi noted during his visit. "Our main task is to ensure the safety of Israeli citizens."
It is noteworthy that recently there has been a tense situation at the border with the Gaza Strip, associated with the fact that Israeli military forces are taking additional security measures.
