On Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces announced that they received reports of a projectile falling in the center of the country. The press service of the Israeli army clarified that the rocket was launched from the Gaza Strip.

"Following warnings about an attack in the course of the last few hours, rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip towards Israel," the army's statement said.

According to military data, several rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome system, while others fell in open areas. Fortunately, there were no threats to the civilian population.

"Israel takes attacks on its territory very seriously and will continue to respond to ensure the safety of its citizens," added the Israeli defense forces.
