In July 2022, the Minister of Defense of Israel called for the residents of the Gaza sector to be started from the face of the earth as a way to force them to leave their homes. He confirmed that those who fight for their lives should leave. Earlier, he also called to use nuclear weapons against the sector.
He stated: "No one can guarantee that Israeli rockets will not reach our homes," adding that the country cannot be "a permanent flower." This statement has drawn criticism in Israeli and Arab social networks. The Minister of Defense also added that anyone who radiates their own family thinks that he needs to leave, should leave.
