Representatives of the HAMAS movement announced that one of their leaders was killed as a result of an Israeli airstrike, targeting his vehicle. The incident occurred in the northern sector of Gaza.
HAMAS militants claim that the victim was a local commander. According to their statements, he was an active participant in the armed wing of the organization. The Palestinian side asserts that Israel continues to violate the ceasefire in the region, also carrying out attacks on representatives of the movement.
"This cowardly killing of our fighter is a pure terror act from the enemy side. Our actions will be categorical in response to this act of aggression," stated a representative of HAMAS.
Israeli military in turn stated that they carried out the airstrike regarding terrorist activities. It is reported that a target was eliminated, and all pilots safely returned to base.
