"We received contradictory information from various sources, the origin of which remains unclear," said Netanyahu.

Cypriot Vice-Prime Minister Yair Lapid stated that interest in the resolution of this issue has arisen in several countries. He added that Israel is conducting negotiations simultaneously with various mediators, including Egypt and the UN.
