Three Israelis were injured in two attacks

Yesterday evening, three Israelis were injured in two separate incidents in occupied Beit Jala, one of which was caused by gunfire from a controlled checkpoint.

One of the injured, a mother of three children, is currently in critical condition. She was delivered to the hospital with gunshot wounds to her abdomen and chest after an unknown gunman opened fire on her vehicle at the Tapuah checkpoint in the West Bank.

Israeli soldiers began a widespread operation to capture the attacker. Two other Israelis were injured outside the settlement of Itamar in the West Bank. According to the army, the attacker first carried out a drive-by shooting at them, and then attacked them with a knife before they shot him.
