Israel Approves $12M for West Bank Archaeological Seizures

The Israeli authorities have completed the release of all detainees in the framework of a prisoner exchange deal for 40 million shekels (about 12 million dollars) to implement a moratorium on archaeological objects in the West Bank. As is known, financing is allocated to ensure the safety of historical heritage, and the process must begin in the coming months.

According to the latest reports, the moratorium affects more than 100 objects, including archaeological artifacts, data from the third millennium BC. This may lead to serious problems in the construction of infrastructure facilities.

"We consider the first step in ensuring the safety of historical heritage," said Israeli Minister Benny Ganz.

The resolution of the dispute between the stonecutters of the cultural heritage and the themes, who emphasize the importance of developing infrastructure, has been postponed.
