Israel Receives Body of Argentine Hostage Lior Rudaeff

Israel has reported that the terrorist group Hamas handed over the body of Argentine hostage Lior Rudaeff, who was killed on October 7, 2023, when extremists attacked the kibbutz of Nir Yitzhak.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated in an official communiqué: "Following the identification process carried out by the National Institute of Forensic Medicine (...), the IDF informed the family of Lior Rudaeff that he has been repatriated for burial."

"The IDF shares the family's pain, continues to dedicate all its efforts to the return of the kidnapped who have been killed, and is preparing to continue implementing the agreement," the text added.

The Argentine national was another of the hostages killed on October 7, 2023, when terrorists invaded Israel, with his death being declared on May 7 of last year.

The victim, who was 61 years old, was born in the City of Buenos Aires. He was married, had four children, worked as an ambulance driver, and was a volunteer doctor.

At the age of 8, he settled with his family in the kibbutz of Nir Yitzhak, near the Gaza Strip, where he became a member of the security team. He had two young grandchildren, named Tomer and Dagan, while Ben, one of his descendants, was at the music festival attacked by Hamas.
