Israel has indicated that Turkish soldiers will not be part of the multinational force planned to take control of Gaza once Israeli forces withdraw.
"There will be no Turkish boots on the ground," government spokeswoman Shosh Bedrosian told reporters.
US President Donald Trump's plan to end the two-year conflict between Israel and Hamas envisions an international stabilization force that will replace the Israeli army and gradually take over security in Gaza.
According to reports, Washington has held talks with Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Indonesia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan to contribute to the force.
On Friday, the Istanbul Chief Prosecutor's Office issued arrest warrants for 37 Israeli officials, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on charges of "genocide" and "crimes against humanity".
Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar described the arrest warrants as a "publicity stunt" by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
