The office of Israeli President Isaac Herzog announced on Wednesday that Herzog has received a message from US President Donald Trump, urging him to consider granting a pardon to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The message read: 'With the utmost respect for the independence and requirements of the Israeli judicial system, I believe that this 'case' brought against Bibi (Netanyahu), who fought alongside me for a long time, including against Iran, is a political and unjustified trial.'
