France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom strongly condemned on Thursday the "significant increase" in violence by Israeli settlers against civilians. In a joint statement, the European countries expressed deep concern over the growing aggressive actions of settlers in the occupied West Bank. It was clearly stated that such violence is unacceptable and undermines efforts to achieve peace.
