Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday that he expects to move to the second phase of the U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement in Gaza "very soon."During a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz following their meeting, Netanyahu said: "We discussed how to bring an end to Hamas rule in Gaza... We have completed the first part... and we expect to move very soon to the second, more difficult phase."The Israeli Prime Minister also stated that the political annexation of the West Bank is still under discussion, and that the current situation is expected to remain unchanged in the near future.
