Jerusalem, Feb 8 (EFE). - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will travel to Washington this Tuesday, his office announced today, after previously indicating that the leader will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday. «On Tuesday, February 10, 2026 (…), the Prime Minister will depart on a state visit to Washington,» the office's communiqué reads. On Saturday, Netanyahu stated that he would meet with Trump in Washington on Wednesday to address the United States' negotiations with Iran. The state visit has been brought forward from its initial date, which Israeli media had reported in recent days was set for between February 18 and 22. In announcing the meeting, Netanyahu's office noted that he believes «any negotiation must include the limitation of ballistic missiles and the end of support for the Iranian axis,» referring to Israel's demands to the U.S. regarding the talks with Iran.
