Military escalation in the Gaza Strip continues despite the ceasefire agreement, amid repeated violations by the Israeli army. This reflects the fragility of the truce and ongoing tensions on the ground, under the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by the population. On Monday, the Israeli army continued to violate the ceasefire in Gaza through more airstrikes, artillery shelling, and intense gunfire in the Khan Yunis, Gaza City, Rafah, and Al-Bureij areas, as well as naval shelling from warships. Meanwhile, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich threatened that the army would occupy all of Gaza if Hamas does not surrender its weapons. Israeli aircraft launched two strikes on the eastern areas of Khan Yunis city in the south of the strip.
