The Israeli army announced on Sunday that it had destroyed about half of Iran's missile stockpile, indicating that the Islamic Republic had been producing dozens of ground-to-ground missiles each month. According to army spokesperson Avi Dvir in a televised statement: 'During the operation, we destroyed about half of the missile stockpile of the Iranian regime and prevented the production of at least 1,500 additional missiles.' Dvir added: 'The regime had recently been producing dozens of ground-to-ground missiles monthly and planned to increase production to hundreds per month.'
