Israel Announces New Phase of Military Operation Against Iran

The head of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, announced that the defense forces have begun the transition to a 'next phase' in their offensive against Iran. According to the high command, this stage will be characterized by a significant increase in the precision and lethality of attacks, specifically aimed at dismantling the government structures and strategic military capabilities of Tehran. 'We have destroyed about 80% of air defense systems and achieved almost total air superiority over Iranian skies,' Zamir stated in his televised address. 'We will not stop until the regime's aggression capabilities are completely eliminated,' he added. It was previously reported that air force pilots have dropped more than 6,000 munitions. 'We have also neutralized and destroyed over 60% of ballistic missile launchers,' Zamir said. He reported that Israel has achieved 'near-total air superiority' over Iranian airspace, having destroyed approximately 80% of the country's air defense systems. The conflict, which has plunged the region into an unprecedented crisis, escalated dramatically at the end of February. Zamir, who assumed the role of Chief of Staff exactly a year ago, has been identified as the architect of this operation, which included high-impact strikes on Tehran.
