The Israeli army on Tuesday issued an evacuation warning for residents of areas near south of the Litani River, stating it intends to strike Hezbollah centers in the area and urging residents to head north. The Israeli army confirmed in its warning that anyone present in the designated areas must evacuate immediately. The army emphasized that its operations are ongoing and that it is operating with great force in the region. «Therefore, for your own safety, we once again urge you to evacuate your homes immediately and head north of the Litani River,» the statement read. Spokesman for the Israeli army Avichay Adraei via X said: «Urgent warning to residents of southern Lebanon located south of the Litani River: Hezbollah's activities are forcing the Defense Forces to act forcefully against it in that area». The Israeli army warned residents of buildings in the Lebanese cities of Sidon and Tyre to evacuate them in preparation for strikes.
