According to Israeli media, on Tuesday in a military operation in southern Lebanon, the commander of battalion (9308) Aviraam Harib was killed; he was 42 years old.
"This is a great loss for us. Aviraam was a dedicated soldier, a leader, and a friend," said a representative of the Israeli army.
Details of the military incident are not disclosed.
