As a result of the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, as well as the Israeli army and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, three journalists died while covering events on the front line, reported the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ). According to the CPJ data, in the past year, more journalists have been killed in this conflict than anywhere else.

The organization notes that in Gaza, 128 journalists have died in the past year, and 69 media representatives have been forcibly detained. Some of them were killed, including a reporter wearing a press vest.

Reporters Without Borders also report a large number of detainees, missing without a trace or killed journalists in Palestine over the past year. They also track information about journalists who have died while carrying out their professional activities in Gaza, in Lebanon, and Israel, recently updating their total number.
