Israeli Army Commits Massacre Resulting in 82 Deaths

On Friday, the Israeli army carried out two incidents, resulting in the deaths of 82 Palestinians.

One incident took place at the border with the Gaza Strip, where armed Palestinians attacked Israeli soldiers. As the army noted, in response there was a reported "air strike," which resulted in the deaths of no less than 41 people.

The second incident occurred in the town of Nablus on the western bank of the Jordan River, where Israel conducted a "special operation" against an alleged terrorist. According to estimates from Palestinian officials, as a result of this incident, another 41 people died.

High-ranking officials from Israel and representatives from the Palestinian side provided opposing assessments of what happened. The versions of the sides differ on a number of key questions, including the nature of the assault and the circumstances of the deaths of civilians.

"Israel's actions in the framework of self-defense" were approved by the country's prime minister, who also expressed condolences to the families of the victims. Palestinians, in turn, condemned these actions as unwarranted violence and demand reactions from the international community.
