On Monday, the Israeli army announced that its soldiers detained around 100 suspects affiliated with the Ham movement during a raid in the Kamal Advan area in the northern sector of Gaza.
According to the representatives of the armed forces, the operation was conducted with the aim of detaining individuals involved in actions against Israel. As a result of the operation, dozens of suspects were detained, who were forwarded for further investigation.
One of the officers stated: "We value the lives of our citizens above all and bear responsibility for their safety. We will continue to act against terrorism and take measures to protect our citizens."
Confirming the legitimacy of the operation, Palestinian representatives accused Israeli armed forces of violating international law and human rights.
