On Monday, the Israeli Ministry of Defense announced the allocation of 530 million dollars to accelerate the development of an anti-aircraft system called "Iron Dome" with laser weapons.

This anti-aircraft system is intended to strengthen the country's defense against threats from the airspace. The new funding is primarily designated to expedite the development and implementation of laser weapon technology.

The "Iron Dome" technology with lasers allows for detecting and hitting targets at longer distances. The system will operate based on the latest scientific developments in the field of laser technology.

"This decision will significantly enhance the safety of Israeli citizens and ensure effective protection against air threats," stated a representative of the Ministry of Defense.
