"Israel aims to achieve success in negotiations with Hamas," stated the head of the coordination office in the administration of the occupied territories. "Our conversations have humanitarian significance. We are ready to make concessions to achieve success in this process," he added.
However, as officials emphasized, there are currently no guarantees that this initiative will lead to concrete results. "We understand that many aspects of this process are complex and require serious efforts," said a representative of the administration. "We need to do everything possible to achieve peace and security for all parties involved."
In response to statements from the Israeli authorities, a Hamas representative expressed readiness for dialogue. "We are open to negotiations and ready to consider any proposals that lead to the release of our comrades from Israeli prisons," he said. "Our goal is to achieve the release of all those imprisoned in exchange for our brothers."
This statement opens a new chapter in relations between Israel and Hamas. At the same time, this is only a preliminary stage, which may lead to the beginning of constructive dialogue between the parties with the aim of reaching an agreement on mutual release of hostages.
