On Monday, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) condemned the legislation enacted by the Israeli parliament that prohibits the activities of the organization.
"UNRWA condemns the legislation passed by the Knesset, which prohibits the activities of the agency providing assistance and support to Palestinian refugees," the organization's statement said.
"These measures put humanitarian work of UNRWA at risk and potentially millions of Palestinians at risk of losing access to health care, education, and social protection," the agency emphasized.
