After more than a year since the start of the war in the Gaza sector, the reserve forces of the Israeli army have been depleted, which complicates the challenges in the conscription of new recruits. At the same time, a new front has opened with Lebanon.
According to an official army representative: "We have faced serious difficulties in the conscription of additional forces in connection with the prolonged conflict on the border with Gaza. This especially concerns the reserve, which has been needed for a longer period for restoration after the last military actions."
Experts note that the increase in tensions on Israel's southern border has led to a decrease in the country's recruitment capability and the necessity to combat a new threat in the north.
In conclusion, it can be said that the Israeli army is preparing for serious work on restoring security and reflecting the threat from multiple fronts simultaneously.
